The DataLink GW1500-ABEIP is our latest gateway between Ethernet/IP & AB Ethernet to Allen-Bradley’s DH+ Network that provides Remote Ethernet PLC Programming and an alternative to the Controllogix Gateway.  This cost effective solution allows you to keep your existing AB Legacy PLCs on DH+ and bridge to Ethernet.

GW1500 Gateway

The GW1500 is our next generation, multi-protocol gateway that can easily be converted to several protocols with a firmware change (ie. DF1, ASCII, Modbus, ModTCP, AB Ethernet or Ethernet/IP to multiple AB DH+/DH-485) all for $1,395 USD list.  

You may wish to program your PLC with RSLINX (1770-KF2 driver) serial DF1 to Allen-Bradley’s DH+ on the plant floor or change firmware to RSLINX (AB Ethernet driver) remotely over Ethernet with our GW1500-ABEIP firmware.

GW1500-ABEIP: AB Ethernet & Ethernet/IP to AB’s DH+

The GW1500 interfaces up to any 5 newer AB Ethernet/IP & AB Ethernet PLC connections  ( ie. SLC 5/05, Compactlogix, Micrologix or PLC-5E, Flexlogix, Controllogix) or MMI/SCADA/Programming package to any multiple device/nodes on AB’s DH+.

This gateway is a cost-effective alternative to the AB Controllogix Gateway (1756-ENBT and 1756-RIO).

Applications include:

*External, compact alternative to AB’s 1770-KF2, 1784-P(KTX), 1784-KTX, 1784-PCMK, 1784-U2DHP, & Controllogix Gateway

*SCADA/MMI/Programming Software (RLSINX/LOGIX/VIEW,Wondware, Kepware, Citect, Intellution, et. all) packages using AB Ethernet Drivers can read/write data from/to multiple DH+ nodes.

*Any AB Ethernet & Ethernet/IP PLC (MicroLogix, SLC 5/05, CompactLogix, FlexLogix, PLC-5E, ControlLogix) as Master will be able to send either read or write MSG (message) instructions to any DH+ PLC (SLC 5/04, PLC-5).
