GW1000 Gateway

The GW1000 hardware is a multi-protocol gateway that can easily be converted to several protocols with a firmware change (ie. DF1, ASCII, Modbus, ModTCP, AB Ethernet or Ethernet/IP to multiple DH+/DH-485) all for $1,250 USD list.  

You may wish to interface a ASCII barcode scanner to DH+ or switch firmware to  program via RSLINX (AB Ethernet driver) remotely over Ethernet to DH+ with our GW1000-ABEIP firmware.

GW1000-DHPA

The  DataLink GW1000-DHPA  is compact, freestanding ASCII serial interface that has the ability to send and receive ASCII messages via A-B Data Highway Plus (DH+).

A block of data is temporarily stored in the ASM’s 240-byte buffer until the buffer is filled or an ASCII carriage return is detected in the data. Once the data is terminated, the bytes are transmitted to the PLC’s integer files in DH+ protocol format.  All bytes are retransmitted in the order they were received minus the carriage return.

The GW1000 has the added functionality of  enabling ASCII messages stored in PLC-5 data tables to be transferred over DH+ (Data Highway Plus) to a serial printer or message display.

The DHPA is specifically designed to buffer DH+ (Data Highway Plus) message commands sent to its station address from any PLC-5. The transmitted ASCII bytes are then flipped to produce messages on the printer in the same order as the ASCII data is entered and displayed in the PLC.
